I’ve been suffering from hand arthritis for 10 years. It started during the menopause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hand arthritis is very common for women over 50 and unfortunately there is no cure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though there is no cure, I’ve been trying to manage the pain, such as avoiding foods that trigger inflammation and doing hand exercise every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the above, I wear a compression glove and have LED light therapy, which is really helpful and actually works. But please know that everyone is different and it might not be working for other people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) Compression Glove<\/H3> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I purchased this<\/strong><\/a> from Amazon. It REALLY helps to reduce stiffness and pain. Especially at bedtime. I don\u2019t feel much morning stiffness if I wear the glove while sleeping. Any ‘compression’ items are helpful for blood circulation. It also helped reduce pain in my arm after 4 hours of chemotherapy injection. (I will post this story later) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) LED Light Therapy<\/H3><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I saw a TV commercial about light therapy for arthritis. So I wanted to give it a try. If you are curious about this, this site<\/strong><\/a> is good to read. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many types and brands, but I selected dpl <\/strong><\/a>Flex Mitt<\/strong><\/a> which is known for LED Light anti-aging devices. Actually, the Amazon review is not high, so if you want to choose whatever has a high rating, this is not the one\u2026but I selected this brand because I think the technology is the most trustworthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been three weeks since I started using the LED light therapy. Surprisingly, it works. I still have stiffness, but it has definitely reduced pain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only con is that it is time consuming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the product directions, you need to leave your hand in the glove for 20 minutes. It will turn off automatically after 20 minutes. You need to do that 3 times a day for maximum result. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually, 20 minutes is long. I can\u2019t do anything during the treatment which is a total of 40 minutes. Therefore, I am unable to use it 3 times a day but at least 2 times, morning and night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe this devise doesn’t fix my arthritis permanently, but I am okay if it reduces pain a little. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
